Newer Technics 1210 models don't have them anymore. However, the stock MK2s have a center click position.
In the first place this has no technical harm, it is just a matter of style and preference. But a lot of people prefer not having a click in the center to have a smoother transition during beat matching.
If your problem is, that your pitch jumps as soon as you are in the center, the problem is that your pitch needs to be calibrated.
