The MODNICS Pitch Extension Mod gives you three selectable pitch ranges for ultimate flexibility in mixing, sampling, and creative performance. Pitch Ranges Switch between three precision-calibrated modes: Slow: -20% to -8% (extreme slowdown) Default: -8% to +8% (standard Technics range) Fast: +8% to +20% (extended speed range) Unlike newer models (e.g. MK7) that scale the entire range, our mod offsets the pitch range while maintaining the same precision as the standard ±8% setting. This means you get consistent, fine-tuned control across all three modes. However, we're always open to your specific requirements – just let us know your preference in the order notes. How It Works The Technics direct-drive motor operates at a base frequency generated by a quartz crystal oscillator. By switching between three different crystal frequencies, we offset the entire pitch range without changing the pitch fader's resolution. Traditional ±16% or ±32% mods scale the range, reducing precision. Our approach maintains the same fine control you're used to with ±8%, just shifted to different ranges. Think of it as three separate "windows" of pitch control rather than one stretched-out range. Compatibility This modification works with all Technics SL-1200 and SL-1210 models: SL-1200 MK2 / SL-1210 MK2 SL-1200 MK3 / SL-1210 MK3 SL-1200 MK5 / SL-1210 MK5 SL-1200 M3D / SL-1210 M3D Not compatible with: MK7, M5G, SL-1200GR, SL-1210GR (these models have different motor control systems)

Target popup light bulb replacement service for Technics SL-1200, SL-1210
Lights not working? Replace the bulb with a classical ones or LEDs We personally prefer the classic bulbs. They are a bit more sensitive but create a nice warm light that is spread evenly. Perfect for home and aesthetic applications. The LEDs are custom and not original but more resistant to shock since they don’t break so easily. However, we don’t like the colour and way it spreads unnaturally due to its very direct lightning. Good for rigid setups that travel often!

Technics SL-1210 MK2 Pitch Quartz Lock / Center Click Removal
Newer Technics 1210 models don't have them anymore. However, the stock MK2s have a center click position. In the first place this has no technical harm, it is just a matter of style and preference. But a lot of people prefer not having a click in the center to have a smoother transition during beat matching. If your problem is, that your pitch jumps as soon as you are in the center, the problem is that your pitch needs to be calibrated.
